| | | Remember that touching harms the art. Even the slightest touch can, over time, cause painted surfaces, wood, and stone to become discolored, metal to rust, and glass or plaster to break. |

| | | Silence and refrain from using cell phones and other personal electronic devices in the galleries. Cell phones used for the Chihuly Glass CellPhone Tour are permitted only in the George and Mary Davis Gallery and the Kreielsheimer Alcove where Chihuly glass is on permanent display. |

| | | Food and beverages, including baby bottles and cups with lids, are not permitted in the galleries. |

| | | Photography is not permitted in the galleries. Limited photo permits are available from the admissions desk. Photography is permitted in the public spaces of the museum including the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust Open Art Studio and the Leslie P. Sussman Atrium. Photos can also be taken of Dale Chihuly’s glass and Scott Fife’s Leroy, The Big Pup. | | Anyone with a wireless-enabled laptop or other device can access the free high-speed broadband internet service provided by Tacoma Art Museum. When connecting to the network, users should look for “TAMWIFI.” No password or further set-up is required once “TAMWIFI” has been located and accessed. The museum’s WiFi supports all standard internet security protocols, such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC), to ensure safe usage. |

| | | Usage of laptops and electronic devices is not permitted in the galleries. Internet access is only permitted in the public areas of the museum, including: Relish Cafe, the Murray Family Event Space, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Art Resource Center, and the outdoor terrace.
