Android Instructions

Download the App onto your Android Device

  1. Open Play Store (Google’s app store) on your device
  2. Search for “Triveous”
  3. Download “Voice Recorder” by the company Triveous

Setup the Voice Recorder App

  1. Open the Voice Recorder app
  2. Select the three dots at the top-right corner of the app
    • Select  Settings
    • Select Sync & Share
    • Select Enable sync
      • A prompt will appear, asking for DropBox login details (see below)
      • If you have a personal DropBox account, you may need to select “Use a different account”  prior to entering the details below
  3. IMPORTANT: If this device is not connected to WiFi, or you are not sure if it is connected to WiFi…
    1. Within the Sync & Share menu, select Choose network for sync
    2. Select WiFi + mobile data
    3. This will ensure your audio file uploads to us, whether or not you are connected to WiFi
  4. Enter the following DropBox account details:
  5. Select Allow to approve the sync

Testing the APP

  • Go to a quiet location (the location you plan on recording your interview is preferred)
  • Launch the Voice Recorder App and record a short clip of yourself speaking your name and phone number
  • A message will appear at the bottom of the app that reads  “Uploading Audio. Please wait.” Allow 1-3 minutes  until this message disappears.
  • A representative from TAM will call within 1-2 business days to let you know we have received your recording
  • If we do not receive a recording at least 1 week prior to your scheduled interview, we will call to help you set up the device
